About Yan "Blaze" Snead
Tatiana "Yan Blaze" Snead graduated from Kean University in New Jersey with a Bachelors in Public Relations, minor in Music. She studied Classical Voice and Piano for two years at the university level before she realized pursuing a career as a full-time musician was no longer her passion.
In January 2015, Snead was picked up as an on-air personality on Jersey based podcast titled, "Podcast About Nothing" with co-host Jamar Dickson, which explored controversial issues among the Black community, as well as interviewed up-and-coming entrepreneurs, brand strategists, musicians, clothing designers, and more. In addition, she was a media personality on YouTube Webseries and Podcast "The Coffee Shop" (previously featured on Bossip.com).
She has written a number of opinion editorials and conducted exclusive interviews with her artistic peers for Hypefresh Magazine based in Philadelphia and NYC; and she is the former Editor-in-Chief of Brooklyn based Production House, Dinner Land Network. Yan built her platform interviewing artists and entrepreneurs within the Hip-Hop community, curating Dinner Land's Music Monday Show, and acquiring Dash Radio XXL station placements for underground hip-hop artists. Additionally, she curated Whip Sessions and Thirdshift playlists — both highlighting underground R&B and Hip-Hop acts, and independent up-and-comers within the music industry.
Outside of Clubhouse, Yan curates Audiomack's "Hometown Heroes: Jersey" Playlist, is the Executive Creative Director of Grammy Award winning producer/lyricist Chase N. Cashe's Can't Buy Respect Agency, and the Manager of Communications and Digital Strategy at the Katal Center for Health, Equity, and Justice.
